The Christian Tongue: part 9

The Christian Tongue

Michal is another person in the Bible who used her tongue in the wrong way.

When her husband King David was bringing the ark of God from the home of Obed-Edom to the City of David, he danced for God with all his might while only wearing a linen ephod tied around his waist.

Michal happened to look out through the window and saw him jumping and whirling for God and she despised him in her heart.

When David returned home, she came to meet him and said, "How glorious  was the king of Israel today exposing himself infront of his maidservants." (2 Samuel 6:20)

As a result of using her tongue to criticize her husband, Michal never had any children. (2 Samuel 6:12-23)
By your own words you will be justified. By your own words you will be condemned Matthew 12:37

Therefore choose your words very carefully especially when you are speaking to your spouse or some one in authority over you because By your own words you will be justified. By your own words you will be condemned. (Matthew 12:37)
