War Room Prayer Strategy Printable

The steps of an effective War Room Prayer Strategy for your Business are as follows:

1. Identify the Devil's Device
The devil uses many strategies to fight God's people and their businesses but We are not ignorant of his devices. (2 Corinthians 2:11) Theses devices of the devil include confusion, deception, destruction, discouragement and fear.

You can identify the device being used against your business by paying attention to what you are experiencing. For example if you are fearful as you work on your business, know that fear is the device being used by the enemy because God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)

We can also see that when Nehemiah was rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem, Sanballat sent an open letter accusing him and the Jews of rebuilding so that they could rebel against the King. Nehemiah discerned the real motive of those false accusations was to make them stop working for he said, They were trying to frighten us to stop working. (Nehemiah 6:5-9)

Nehemiah dealt with this device of fear by praying for he said, “God strengthen my hands”. (Nehemiah 6:9) Therefore identify the device being used to fight against your business so that you can deal with it effectively.

To learn more about these devices of the devil read We Are Not Ignorant Of His Devices which uses examples from the Bible to teach you about 20 strategies that satan uses to attack God's people and explains how to deal with each of those devices of the devil.

We Are Not Ignorant Of His Devices (2 Corinthians 2:11) uses examples from the Bible to teach you 20 strategies of the devil and how to deal with each of those devices.

2. Put on the Armor of God
The Bible instructs us to, "Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the tricks of the devil." (Ephesians 6:11)

The armor of God consists of the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the belt of truth, the shoes of the Gospel of peace, the shield of faith and the sword of the spirit which is the Word of God. (Ephesians 6:14-17)

Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. ... Take up the whole armor of God so that you may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all, continue standing. (Ephesians 6:11-13)

To put on this armor of God you have to do the following:

1. Put on the helmet of salvation by saying with your mouth that “Jesus is Lord” and believing in your heart that when Jesus died for our sins, God raised Him from the dead and you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)

2. Put on the breastplate of righteousness by always doing the right thing in the sight of God. Righteousness is very important because it is also written that it should be on our right hand and on our left hand. (2 Corinthians 6:7) Being righteous by doing what God wants will also help you overcome the devil because the Bible tells us Submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. (James 4:7)

Submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. (James 4:7)

3. Tie the belt of truth by being truthful in all your dealings and especially in your business deals.

4. Put on the shoes of the Gospel of peace by reading your Bible every day.

5. Take up the shield of faith by believing God and His Word in the Bible because this will help you neutralize the attacks of the enemy. You should also make a point of listening to preaching of the Gospel each day because Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. (Romans 10:17)

6. Take up the sword of the spirit which is the word of God by speaking Scriptures over your business.

3. Praise and Thank God
The Bible tells us to Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. (Psalm 100:4)

This means that when you want to enter God's presence you have to thank Him and praise Him.

Therefore begin praising God by reading and personalizing praise psalms like the following:

Bless the Lord O my soul and do not forget all His benefits:
He forgives all my iniquities,
He heals all my diseases,
He redeems my life from destruction,
He crowns me with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
He satisfies my mouth with good things
So that my youth is renewed like the eagle's. (Psalm 103:2-5)

Bless the Lord O my soul and do not forget all His benefits: He forgives all my iniquities, He heals all my diseases, He redeems my life from destruction, He crowns me with lovingkindness and tender mercies, He satisfies my mouth with good things So that my youth is renewed like the eagle's. (Psalm 103:2-5)

You can also play Christian praise songs on your DVD player or computer or radio and singing along.

Combine this with thanking God for what He has done for you in the past and praising Him for what He will do for you in the future.

You can also praise God for Who He is especially if you need Him to use those attributes to help you. For example if you need Him to provide for your business you can praise Him by saying, "I praise You because You are Jehovah Jireh (Genesis 22:14) the Lord Who Provides."

War Room Prayers for your Business

4. Pray Effectively
The Bible tells us that The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person availeth much. (James 5:16)

Therefore, once you are in the presence of God begin praying effectively so that your prayers can achieve a lot by using Bible verses since The SWORD of the spirit is the WORD of God. (Ephesians 6:17)

Ensure that you are also praying fervently by proclaiming the scriptures passionately and enthusiastically.

The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person availeth much. (James 5:16)

Bible verses or SWORD WORDS that you can use to pray effectively and fervently for your business include:

Heavenly Father I ask You in the name of Jesus to bless me indeed and enlarge my business. (1 Chronicles 4:10)

Heavenly Father I ask You in the name of Jesus to command the blessing on me and in my stores and in that I do with my hands. (Deuteronomy 28:8)

Heavenly Father I ask You in the name of Jesus to keep me busy with the joy of my heart. (Ecclesiastes 5:20)

Heavenly Father I ask You in the name of Jesus to strengthen my hands (Nehemiah 6:9) so that I can work of this business effectively.

SWORD WORDS from the Bible to say as Warfare Prayers and Christian Affirmations for your Business

As you pray ardently for your business using SWORD WORDS, ensure that you are also living a righteous life because for an effective and fervent prayer to achieve a lot, the person saying it must be morally upright because it is written that The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much (James 5:16) and The eyes of God are on the righteous and His ears are open to their prayers. (1 Peter 3:2)

Ensure that you have also confessed your sins to God and asked for His forgiveness because The Lord’s hand is not shortened that it cannot save you and His ear is not heavy that He cannot hear you. But your iniquities have separated you from your God and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He will not hear. (Isaiah 59:1-2)

5. Have Faith
As you pray for your business, you have to believe that you will receive what you are asking for because we are told to Ask in faith (James 1:6)

Therefore if you are praying for increased customers, you have to pray while seeing with with your mind's eye customers lining up to pay for your goods and services because Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)

Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)

If you feel or think that you do not have any faith, know that is a lie because God has dealt to each person a measure of faith. (Romans 12:3)

If you feel or think that your faith is too small to achieve anything, understand that is also a lie because Jesus taught, "If you have faith as small a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." (Matthew 17:20)

If you find that your faith is wavering because one day you are certain that your prayers will be answered and the next you are not sure, simply pray "Lord I believe. Help my unbelief." (Mark 9:24)

Then emulate David by reminding yourself of how God has helped you in the past or how He helped people similar situations either in real life or in the Bible because when he encountered Goliath, David said, "The Lord who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine." (I Samuel 17:37)

6. Fast
Jesus taught that somethings have to be dealt with by combining prayer with fasting when He said, "This kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting." (Matthew 17:21

Therefore combine praying with abstaining from food for 1 day or 3 days or 21 days or 40 days. If you have never fasted before you can begin by skipping 1 meal. If you have any medical condition or you are taking medication, please consult your doctor first.

"This kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting." (Matthew 17:21)

As you abstain from food ensure that you are not engaging in other pleasurable activities or taking advantage of people because when the Israelites asked God “Why have we fasted and You do not see? (Isaiah 58:3) He told them, “On the day you fast, you find pleasure and exploit your laborers.” (Isaiah 58:3)

7 Promises of God Scriptures for your Business

7. Cling to God's Promises
As you wait to receive what you are praying for, emulate Abraham for Abraham did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief. But he was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God while being fully convinced that what God had promised, He was able to perform. (Romans 4:20-21)

Therefore meditate on the Promises of God for your business while being fully convinced that what God has promised in His Word, He is able to perform for you just as He did for Abraham and also because All the promises of God in Jesus Christ are Yes and Amen. (2 Corinthians 1:20)

Some of the promises of God for your business that you can meditate on include:

(Psalm 1:1-3)

The Lord raises those that are bowed down. (Psalm 146:8)

He will not deliver them to the will of their enemies. The Lord will strengthen them when they are ill and sustain them on their sickbed . (Psalm 41:1-3)

Blessed is the person who considers the poor for the Lord will deliver them in time of trouble. The Lord will preserve them and keep them alive and they will be blessed on the earth. He will not deliver them to the will of their enemies. The Lord will strengthen them when they are ill and sustain them on their sickbed . (Psalm 41:1-3)

SWORD WORDS from the Bible to say as Warfare Prayers and Christian Affirmations for your Business

8. Speak to the Situation

Jesus taught, "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting." (Matthew 17:20-21)

This shows us that the keys to dealing with impossible situations are your faith, your words, your prayers and your fasting.

Therefore even if you are dealing with a business situation condition that the consultants have declared impossible know that Nothing will be impossible for you (Matthew 17:20) if you combine praying with fasting and having faith in God with speaking to the mountainous business challenge you are facing.

"If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting." (Matthew 17:20-21)

You can speak to your business every morning and evening by using the SWORD WORDS you used to pray for it as your Christian affirmations. To do this, you can modify them in the following way:

The Lord God is blessing me indeed and enlarging my business. (1 Chronicles 4:10)

The Lord God  is commanding the blessing on me and in my stores and in that I do with my hands. (Deuteronomy 28:8)

The Lord God is keeping me busy with the joy of my heart. (Ecclesiastes 5:20)

The Lord God has strengthened my hand. (Nehemiah 6:9)

The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house and his hands shall also finish it. (Zechariah 4:9) You can also personalize this Bible verse and declare, The hands of (insert your name) have laid the foundation of this business and the hands of (insert your name) shall finish it.
