How to Fight Confusion with Bible Verses

How to Fight Confusion with Bible Verses
If you are staggering in mystification between several courses of action, you have to combine spiritual, mental and physical interventions to form your own holistic deliverance ministry to fight the confusion, deliver yourself from mental chaos and make the right decision.

Learn from the Centurion who was charged with the responsibility of taking Paul to Caesar for he had to make the decision about whether or not the ship they were using was to set sail from Crete.

The pros of setting sail at that particular time included the fact that:
1. The harbor was not suited to spend winter in (Acts 27:12) and it was almost winter
2. The majority of the people advised that they should set sail (Acts 27:12)
3. The south wind blew softly (Acts 27:13)

The cons of setting sail at that particular time included that fact that:
1. The servant of God Paul advised them, “Men, I perceive that this trip will end with disaster and much loss.” (Acts 27:9-10)

But the centurion paid more attention to the helmsman and the ship’s owner than to what Paul said (Acts 27:11) and they set sail.

However it was not long before tempestuous winds begun to toss the ship to and for and so much so that they had to lighten it by throwing its contents into the sea.

The Centurion and his shipmates lost not only physical possessions but also their hope for Neither the sun nor the stars appeared for many days and the travelers gave up hope that they would be saved. (Acts 27:20)

Therefore, the first spiritual intervention for resolving any confusing issue is to pray and consult The Lord of Hosts Who is wonderful in advising and excellent in guidance (Isaiah 28:29) because God knows everything there is to know about every situation.

Pray and ask Him for direction because we are told that If any person lacks wisdom, let them ask of God, Who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to them.

But ask in faith without doubting, because the person who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

Let not that person suppose that they will receive anything from the Lord for they are double-minded and unstable in all their ways. (James 1:5)

As you pray, use Scriptures since the Word of God is the Sword of the Spirit that God has given us to fight with. (Ephesians 6:17) Scriptures that you can use as personal deliverance prayers for confusion include:
1. Heavenly Father I ask You in the name of Jesus to cause me to know the way in which I should walk because I lift up my soul to You. (Adapted Psalm 143:8)

2. Heavenly Father I ask You in the name of Jesus to lead me in Your righteousness because of my enemies and make Your way straight and clear before my face. (Adapted Psalm 5:8)

3. Heavenly Father I ask You in the name of Jesus to give me understanding and help me know what I should do. (Adapted Psalm 119:125)

4. Heavenly Father Your Word says that we should acknowledge You in all our ways and You will direct our paths. I therefore ask you in the name of Jesus to show me what I should do. (Adapted Proverbs 3:5-6)
If any of you lacks wisdom let him ask of God who gives to all freely and without reproach and it will be given James 1:5
