How to Fight for Restoration with Bible Verses
Regardless of whether you are suffering because lethal locusts, cancerous
cankerworms, calamitous caterpillars or poisonous palmerworms have destroyed
your assets and you are now languishing in a valley surrounded by the very dry
bones of your dead health, dead relationships, dead businesses, dead career or
dead ministry, understand that you have to combine spiritual, mental, verbal
and physical interventions to form your own holistic deliverance ministry and
fight for restoration.
The first spiritual intervention is to pray and ask God to help you. Learn
from David when he and his men returned to their dwellings in Ziklag and found
that the Amalekites had kidnapped their wives and children and razed their
homes to the ground because David did not first set off to pursue his enemies.
Instead, David first asked God, “Shall
I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?” and God answered him, ‘Pursue, for
you shall surely overtake them and without fail, recover all.’ (1 Samuel
30:8)
As a result of first acknowledging God, we can see that God directed his
path because David and his men found an Egyptian who had been abandoned by one
of the Amalekites in the wilderness because he had fallen sick. They fed him
and he then led them to the Amalekites. (1 Samuel 30:11-17)
As a result, David recovered all
that the Amalekites had carried away. (1 Samuel 30:18)
Therefore, Trust in the Lord with all your heart and
lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and He
shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Learn also from Martha and Mary when their brother Lazarus became sick
for The sisters sent a message to Jesus
saying, “Lord, the one whom You love is sick.” (John 11:3) Therefore, begin
sending your prayers to the Lord once you notice signs of loss in any
department of your life.
As you pray, use
Scriptures since the Word of God is the Sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17)
that God has given us to fight with. We will therefore call the Scriptures that
we will use to SWORD WORDS.
SWORD WORDS that you can use as spiritual warfare prayers for restoration include:
1. Father
God, as you restored to the Israelites all the years that the locusts,
cankerworms, caterpillars and palmerworms (Joel 2:25) had eaten, I ask you in
the name of Jesus to restore to me all the years that the multiple problems in
my life have wasted.
2. Father God, Your word says, “I will open your graves and cause you to
come out from your graves” (Ezekiel 37:12) and therefore I ask you in the name
of Jesus to open up this grave (name your grave e.g.
debt, divorce, depression, unemployment) I have been buried in and cause me to come out of it and restore
everything that has died in my life.
3. Father God I ask
you in the name of Jesus to restore to me all that was mine and
all the income that I have been losing since my assets were taken away from me.
