Psalm 67 Devotional

Psalm 67 Devotional

God be merciful unto us and bless us.
Cause Your Face to shine upon us. (Psalm 67:1)
Pray for God's blessing by saying, "Heavenly Father I ask You in the name of Jesus to be merciful to me and to bless me and cause Your Face to shine upon me."

Then after God has blessed you what next?

That Your way may be known on the earth
And your salvation among all the nations. (Psalm 67:2)

And how will this come about?

This come about as a result of you testifying and telling people how God has been merciful to you and blessed you.

Your testifying will result in the people praising God. So ...

Let the people praise You, O God. Let all the people praise You. (Psalm 67:3-4)

Even if you are waiting for justice, praise God ...

O let the nations be glad and sing for joy because You shall judge the people righteously and govern the nations on the earth. (Psalm 67:4)

Even if you are still waiting for God to bless you, praise Him ...

Let the people praise You, O God. Let all the people praise You. (Psalm 67:5)

Because after praising God

Then shall the earth yield her increase and
God, even our own God shall bless us.
God shall bless us and all the ends of the earth shall fear Him. (Psalm 67:6-7)

Therefore praise God when  you are waiting for Him to bless you and after He has blessed you continue praising Him and testify of His blessings so that others can also praise Him.
