Christian Stress Management: The Christian Tongue part 6: How To Prophesy Over Your Life

Are you in a valley situation where you are wondering:
Can my health live?
Can my marriage live?
Can my family live?

Can my ministry live?
Can my business live?
Can my career live?

If you are learn from Ezekiel when God took him to a valley which was full of very many dead and dry bones and asked him, "Can these bones live?" (Ezekiel 37:3)

Ezekiel wisely answered by saying, "O God, You know." (Ezekiel 37:3)

God then said to Ezekiel, "Prophesy to these bones and say to them, 'O dry bones, hear the word of God! Thus says the Lord God: I will cause breath to enter into you and you shall live.'" (Ezekiel 37:4-5)

'O dry bones, hear the word of God! ... you shall live. (Ezekiel 37:4-5)

Therefore if you want the dead and dry bones of your health, marriage, family, ministry, business or career to live, follow the instructions that God gave Ezekiel and "Prophesy to those bones and say to them, 'O dry bones, hear the word of God! Thus says the Lord God: I will cause breath to enter into you and you shall live.'" (Ezekiel 37:4-5)

To do this, go through your Bible and find verses that you can use to prophesy over the dead and dry bones in your life since they are to Hear the word of God!

For example you can prophesy by saying:
O health, hear the word of God! Thus says the Lord God in Psalm 107:20 'He sent His word and healed me.'

O marriage, hear the word of God! Thus says the Lord God in Matthew 19:6 'What God has joined together let no one separate.'

(If you want to get married prophesy by saying) O marriage, hear the word of God! Thus says the Lord God in Psalm 68:6 'God sets the singles in families.'

O family, hear the word of God! Thus says the Lord God in Proverbs 11:21 'The children of the righteous will be delivered.'

O ministry, hear the word of God! Thus says the Lord God in Isaiah 55:10 'God's Word shall accomplish the purpose for which He sent it.'

O business, hear the word of God! Thus says the Lord God in Proverbs 14:23 'In all labor there is profit.'

O career, hear the word of God! Thus says the Lord God in Psalm 138:8 'God is perfecting that which concerns me.'

After Ezekiel did the first round of prophesying as God had commanded him, there was a noise and he saw the bones coming together, being covered in sinews, flesh and skin. But, there was no breath in them.

Therefore understand that after prophesying over your health, you may see and hear signs of improvement like the doctor telling you that the test results are better but you are still not 100% healed.

After prophesying over your marriage, you may see and hear signs of improvement as your spouse begins buying you presents but your marriage is still not 100% healed as they are still having secret phone calls.

After prophesying over your family, you may see and hear signs of improvement as your wayward child asks you to buy them a Bible but they are still not 100% healed as they are still using drugs.

After prophesying over your ministry, you may see and hear signs of improvement as you get emails asking your if you are available to minister on certain dates but your ministry is still not 100% healed as you have not received a confirmed invitation.

After prophesying over your business, you may see and hear signs of improvement as customers start popping into your shop but your business is still not 100% healed as your sales cannot pay your rent.

After prophesying over your career, you may see and hear signs of improvement as you get interview invitations but your career is still not 100% healed as you have not received a job offer after doing many interviews.

The tongue has the power of life and death Proverbs 18:21

Therefore do what God told Ezekiel after he prophesied and saw he bones being covered with flesh but they were still not alive for He told him, "Prophesy to the breath, prophesy and say, Thus says the Lord, 'Come from the four winds, O breath and breathe on these so that they may live.'"

Ezekiel did as he was told and the breath came into them and they became alive, stood on their feet and became an exceedingly great army. (Ezekiel 37:9-10)

Therefore begin another round of prophesying over your life and prophesy over what is missing in your situation.
For example you can prophesy,
Spirit of the Living God come and breathe on me so that this disease disappears completely and my health is restored fully.

Spirit of the Living God come and breathe on my marriage so that this affair ends completely and my marriage is restored fully.

Spirit of the Living God come and breathe on my child so that this addiction ends completely and they are restored fully.

Spirit of the Living God come and breathe on my ministry so that this door opens completely and I fulfill the purposes of God for my life fully.

Spirit of the Living God come and breathe on my business so that these losses end completely and I begin making profits.

Spirit of the Living God come and breathe on my career so that I get a good job.

Therefore, Do not grow wearing in doing good (and prophesying over your life) because in due season you shall reap. (Adapted Galatians 6:9)

Ezekiel 37 Bible Study Take Home Lessons

1. The words you speak over your life are very important since The power of death and life is in the tongue. (Proverbs 18:21)

Therefore use positive words that give life rather than negative words that minister death to prophesy over your life.

2. Use this power in your tongue to transform your dead health, marriage, family, ministry, business, career or any other dead issue in your life into an exceedingly large, living army that will serve you by speaking words with resurrection power over yourself.

3. Increase the power in your tongue by prophesying over your situation using Bible verses since the Word of God is the sword of the spirit (Ephesians 6:17)

4. Do not give up if you do not get the results you wanted after your first round of efforts. Persist in prophesying over your life until you become exceedingly successful.
