After Abram with his 318 men fought and defeated King Chedorlaomer of Elam, King Tidal of the nations, King Amraphel of Shinar and King Arioch of Ellasar, God appeared to him and said, "Do not be afraid Abram because I am your shield." (Genesis 15:1)
This is a great Bible verse to meditate on when fear tries to overwhelm you.
You can personalize it and insert your name as you use it for your Christian meditation - "Do not be afraid (insert your name) because I am your shield."
You can also adapt it and use it as a Christian affirmation to fight fear by saying - "I will not be afraid because God is my shield".
Doing this consistently will help you to fight fear effectively since The sword of the spirit is the word of God. (Ephesians 6:17)
