Your Heavenly Father will give the Holy Spirit to those who ask of Him. (Adapted Luke 11:3)
It is very important to ask God to fill you with His Holy Spirit especially when you are dealing with spiritual problems like excessive fear and addictions because When an unclean spirit leaves a person it goes through dry places looking for a place to rest. When it does not find any, it says, “I will return from where I came from.”
When it comes back, it finds it swept and in order. It then goes and takes 7 other spirits which are more wicked than itself and they enter that person to live in him and the last state of that person is worse than the first. (Luke 11:24-26)
Therefore if you have prayed, fasted, recommitted your life to Jesus and instituted any lifestyle changes to begin living for Jesus, you have to pray to your Heavenly Father and ask Him for His Holy Spirit so that if the evil spirits you have evicted from your life try to return, they will find that you are filled with God's Holy Spirit for If you being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more then will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!(Luke 11:9-13)
Prayer
Heavenly Father I ask you in the name of Jesus to fill me with your Holy Spirit because it is written that You will give the Holy Spirit to those who ask You. Amen.
