Devices of the Devil - Intimidation

The Bible tells us that The enemy comes in like a flood (Isaiah 59:19) and we can see him flooding the Israelites with problems when they were being oppressed by the Midianites, the Amalekites, and the people from the East in Judges chapter 6.

This multitude of enemies would flock to Israel in numbers As numerous as locusts (Judges 6:5) and with their livestock, Camels without number. (Judges 6:5)

Therefore, do not give up or back down to the enemy’s demands even if he attacks you with millions of problems simultaneously.

Instead, encourage yourself with the words King Hezekiah used to encourage his people after King Sennacherib of Assyria came to attack them for he said, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or dismayed … because there are  more with us than with him. With him is an arm of flesh but with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles.” (2 Chronicles 32:7-8)
