Prophesy: Out of the Eater will Come Something to Eat

Prophecy: Out of the eater will come something to eat

Samson had seen a woman that he wanted to marry in a place called Timnah. One day as he and his parents were going Timnah, a young lion came roaring against him to his surprise.

The spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him and he tore the lion apart with his bare hands. He then went on talked to her and she pleased him.

After sometime, as he returned to see her, he decided to check out the carcass of the lion and found a swarm of bees and honey inside it.

He took some of the honey in his hands and ate it. (Judges 14:5-9)

Samson was later able to declare:
"Out of the eater came something to eat,
Out of the strong came something sweet.(Judges 14:14)
Out of the eater will come something to eat Judges 14:14

This is a remarkable Bible story because it teaches us the following lessons:
1. Be Sober and Vigilant
We do not really know why Samson and his parents were going to Timnah that day but we can assume that it may have had something to do with the fact that he had seen a woman that he wanted to marry there.

Regardless of the reason of their journey, a young lion came roaring against Samson.

We know that lions do not come roaring at people for fun and so we can safely assume that this lion wanted to devour Samson and cut short his plans of getting married since he had found a woman who pleased him and it was in God's will for him to marry her. (Judges 14:4)

Therefore as you go about your business, Be sober and vigilant because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion seeking for someone to devour. (1 Peter 5:8)
Be sober and vigilant for the devil walks about like a lion seeking someone to devour 1 Peter 5:8

2. Trust God to Help You
When this lion threatened Samson, God's spirit came mightily upon him and he tore it apart with his bare hands.

Therefore if your adversary the devil attacks you suddenly the way this young lion launched a surprise attack on Samson, do not fear and do not be discouraged.

Trust God to help you through His Holy Spirit the way He helped Samson because When the enemy comes in like a flood, the spirit of the Lord lifts up a standard against him. (Isaiah 59:19)

When the enemy comes in like a flood the spirit of the Lord lifts up a standard against him Isaiah 59:19

3. Trust God to Turn it Around
God turned Samson's situation around so that what was meant to eat him (the lion) turned into something he could it (honey) by letting His Holy Spirit descend mightily on Samson so that he could destroy the lion.

Therefore if you are facing a situation where the enemy is threatening to eat you alive, trust God to turn it around and enable you to eat something sweet from that enemy.

We see another great example of God turning the situation around in Joseph's life when his brothers sold him to become a slave and later found that he was the Prime Minister of Egypt for he was able to declare to them, "You meant it for evil but God turned it around for good". (Genesis 50:20)
God turned it around Genesis 50:20

Therefore regardless of what the enemy is trying to devour or destroy in your life, pray for God to turn it around so that you end up eating something good out of it.

For instance if someone is threatening to destroy your marriage, pray and ask God to help you and turn the situation around for your benefit. Combine your prayers with confessing that "Out of the eater will come something to eat(Judges 14:14) and believing that the thing that was sent by the enemy to eat or destroy your marriage will produce something to eat or build your marriage.

Yes, God can do it!
