What is Spiritual AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome)?
Spiritual AIDS is a disease the destroys a person’s spiritual life the way physical AIDS destroys a person’s physical body.

That means that Spiritual AIDS wrecks a person’s spiritual immune system thereby leaving them defenseless to possibly lethal attacks from the enemy satan and his kingdom the same way physical AIDS damages a person’s physical immune system making them vulnerably to possibly lethal physical attack from enemy bacteria, viruses and fungi.

What Is the Spiritual Immune System?
The Spiritual Immune System is the armor that we have been given to fight our spiritual battles. This armor consists of salvation, righteousness, truth, the Word of God, faith and prayer.
11Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
 14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
 15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit. (Ephesians 6:11-18)

What Are The Spiritual AIDS Symptoms?
Just us the symptoms of Physical AIDS consists of a syndrome or a group of disorders such as tuberculosis, herpes zoster or cryptococcal meningitis which are characteristic of it, Spiritual AIDS also consists of a syndrome or a group of spiritual disorders that are characteristic of it.

Spiritual disorders that are characteristic of spiritual AIDS or the spiritual AIDS symptoms include:
1. Backsliding if you were saved refusing to be saved if you have never been saved.
2. Unrighteousness or doing the wrong thing in the sight of God.
3. Lying either by omission or by commission.
4. Not reading the Bible.
5. Doubting God or refusing to believe what the Bible says.
6. Not praying.

Therefore, if you have all these spiritual symptoms, then you have spiritual AIDS. If you have just a few of these spiritual HIV positive symptoms you are infected with the spiritual HIV virus which is really sin because it is sin which makes a person backslide, do the wrong thing in the sight of God, lie or simply do the opposite of what the Bible says should be done. Sin therefore is the cause of AIDS of the spiritual type.

Motivational Sermons that Inspire: How Badly Do Your Really Want It?

Motivational sermons that inspire: How badly do you want it?

How Badly Do You Want It? is a Christian motivational sermon that inspires you to work hand without giving up until you achieve your goal. It is also part of our Christian sermon series.
Christian sermon series

How Badly Do You Want It?
If you want something (that Jesus would approve) and people and problems are hindering your getting it, learn from the 4 men who brought a paralyzed man to one of Jesus' meetings.

When they could not come near Jesus because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. When they had broken through it, they let down the bed on which the paralyzed man was lying. And when Jesus saw their faith (Mark 2:3-12) he healed the sick man.
***
There are 7 lessons that we can learn from these men about getting what we really want regardless of what our IT or goal is. These Bible lessons are:

1. If You Can’t Get In Through The Door, Climb In Through The Roof
These 4 men wanted to take the paralyzed man to where Jesus was but the crowd would not let them get in through the regular channels i.e. the door. They, therefore, had to think of a Plan B of how they would achieve their goal. They may have considered using the windows but chances are that if the crowd was so thick that they couldn’t enter through the door, the windows were also heavily populated.

Therefore, if you really want it badly enough or you really want to achieve your goal, and you can’t get in through the door, climb up the walls and get in through the roof. If they won’t let you in through the door, take your entrance by spiritual force by climbing in through the roof.

2. If You Can’t Get In Through The Open Door, Enter Through The Closed Roof
The open door was closed to the men by the crowd and so they had to open up something for themselves so that they too could get in. There was no pre-existing opening in the roof. It was solid and closed unlike the open but heavily populated doors and windows.

Therefore if the pre-existing target market is saturated with products similar to yours and they won’t give you a second of their day or a dime of their money, create your own niche market.

Just as they pulled the paralyzed man up to the roof, utilize pull marketing to create a new niche opening in the market for your products as you create your own opportunities if you can’t access the existing ones.

In addition, think up before you think down. That means think of how you can get in from the top first before you start thinking of how you can get in from the bottom. Think of how you can break in through the roof first before strategerizing how you are going to tunnel your way up through the floor.

3. Even If The Problems Increase, Continue Working
These 4 men had been dealing with the problem of the weight of the sick man, the weight of his bed, the uncooperative crowd and now they had to fight gravity as they tried to pull and pulley him up the roof.

Therefore, even if the problems increase at each stage, continue working until you get your breakthrough and achieve your goal.

Can God Help Me If I Am Surrounded By Enemies?

Can God Help Me If I Am Surrounded By Enemies?

Are you surrounded by vicious enemies?

Have you been asking, “Can God help me when I am surrounded by enemies?”

Does it seem like you have no other option except to give up and surrender to your enemies?

If so, understand that God can help you regardless of your circumstances and He can raise the deliverer who will save you from those same enemies who are surrounding you.

Princess Michal and David
The first Biblical example of God raising a deliverer from the enemy’s camp is David’s wife Michal.

King Saul was determined to kill David because he was jealous of him after the women sung, “Saul has killed thousands but David has killed ten thousands.” (1 Samuel 18:8)

Saul therefore used the vast resources at his disposal as King to catch and kill David but God raised deliverers for David not just from King Saul’s own camp but from his own family.

David’s first deliverer from King Saul’s camp was his daughter Michal. We can see that she saved David’ life the night when King Saul sent men to watch David’s house so that they could kill him. Michal warned David by saying, If you do not escape tonight, you will be dead by tomorrow. (1 Samuel 19:11)

Princess Michal then helped David leave their apartment by letting him down through the window. She then made a dummy of some items including a pillow made of goat’s hair and put it in the bed to represent David. When King Saul’s men came to arrest David, she told then that David was unwell.

They took her word back to King Saul who then commanded them to bring David to him even if they had to bring him in his sick bed. On returning to David and Michal’s apartment, the arresting officers found that the form on the bed was not a sick David but dummy with goat hair. (1 Samuel 19:11-16)

Thus we can see that God raised a deliverer for David who had access to inside information for Michal was in a position to know her father’s commands concerning her husband David and thus she saved his life in the nick of time.

Michal by virtue of being the King’s daughter also probably knew the best window to let down David from their apartment so that he could escape safely and thus she helped David who had grown up in the fields as a shepherd.

Are You A Flamboyant Fig Tree Christian?

Buy Are You A Flamboyant Fig Tree Christian? from Amazon

Are you a Flamboyant Fig Tree Christian is a Christian Sermon from Mark 11:12-13

Jesus was hungry as they journeyed from Bethany. And, seeing a fig tree with leaves from afar, He went to see if He could find some figs to eat on it. But, when He came to it, He found only leaves. (Mark 11:12-13)

Jesus approached this fig tree because He was hungry and its display of lavish foliage suggested that it might have something to satisfy Him. But, on approaching it and inspecting it closely, He found nothing to eat and satiate His hunger.

This specific fig tree represents flamboyant Christians who from afar seem to be very fruitful Christians. They maybe Christians who always carry their Bibles and whip them out at every opportunity to quote Scriptures to others. Or they maybe those who have multiple Christian stickers on their cars and numerous Scriptural plaques on their office desks. They may even be those who wear crosses on their neck chains every single day as symbols of their strong faith.

Regardless of their chosen mode of displaying their Christianity, these people on closer inspection, are just showy Christians without any substance. Their words, actions, jewelry and even car stickers are the loud leaves which advertise their Christianity but they do not produce the fruits that Christians should produce. These fruits are love, joy, peace, patience or longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. (Galatians 5:22-23)

Understand that carrying Bibles and wearing crosses and sticking Scriptures to cars is not wrong of itself. What is wrong is when these actions serve as false advertisements telling the public that one is a mature, productive Christian yet they lack the fruits of the Spirit which are the true symbols of mature, productive Christians.

This false, flamboyant advertising is detrimental to the rest of the Church, which is the Body of Christ that needs nourishing, because it draws people only to sorely disappoint them when they receive nothing that can feed them on their life's journey. It is even doubly detrimental to non-believers because it can leave them not just disappointed but also disillusioned with Christianity.
