Christian Blogger Encouragement: Do Not Give Up On Your Christian Ministry

Christian Blogger Encouragement

Are you feeling discouraged because your Christian ministry is not growing despite all the effort you have put into it?

If you are I would like to remind you of 2 Corinthians 4:1 which says:

Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart. (2 Corinthians 4:1)

So do not give up and stop doing what God has called you to do.

Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart. (2 Corinthians 4:1)

Decide that you are going to continue being a Good and faithful servant (Matthew 25:21) who is an excellent steward of what you have been given by God regardless of the challenges you are facing.

Then resolve to believe that God will reward you because we are told Let us not grow weary while doing good because in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. (Galatians 6:9)

Remind yourself of Cornelius the Centurion Who gave alms generously and always prayed (Acts 10:2) because one day an Angel from God came and told him,"Your prayers and alms have come up for a memorial before God." (Acts 10:4) He was then told to send for Simon Peter.

Simon came, and as he preached in Cornelius' house God poured out His Holy Spirit on those who were present they spoke in tongues and magnified God even though they were Gentiles. (Acts 10:1-48)

Thus we can see that Cornelius did reap when his harvest season arrived because he did not grow weary of doing good by giving alms and praying persistently.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 15:58)

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 15:58)

So, regardless of whether you labor for God as a Pastor, evangelist, worship leader, choir member, Christian YouTuber, blogger or Instagrammer or in any other role, do not give up on your ministry because you cannot see the results of your hard work. Just continue working while knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Even if you spend hours composing music, creating videos or writing blog posts and only 1 person listens, views or reads them, know that your effort for God's Kingdom is not wasted.

He knows how He will reward you when your harvest season comes and He also knows how He can inspire your 1 subscriber to use the content you have created to further His Kingdom in leaps and bounds.

Do Not Give Up On Your Christian Ministry

I would like to give you an example of a Pastor whose Church I used to pass by because the largest number of people I ever saw inside his Church was 2 excluding his wife and 2 children. But the anointing flowing from his Church was so strong that I did not have to enter his small, one room Church to be blessed. Passing outside his Church inspired me so strongly and kept me going for months and I believe I was not the only passerby being affected so strongly by his church. So even if some could have viewed him as a "failure" because only 2 people attended his services, he was a great success for the Kingdom of God because he taught me the lesson of being faithful in your position.

So decide to be faithful and continue feeding the hungry with physical and spiritual food, giving the thirsty physical and spiritual water, welcoming strangers, clothing the naked with physical and spiritual clothes and visiting those who are physically and spiritually sick or physically and spiritually imprisoned.

If you need encouragement meditate on the following Scriptures:
Be strong and of good courage. Do not be afraid or dismayed because the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9)

Do not be afraid because I am with you. Do not be dismayed because I am  your God. I will strengthen you and I will help you and I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10)

Do not be afraid or dismayed because of this great multitude for the battle is not yours, it is God's. (2 Chronicles 20:15)

Know that you have to take your position in the battlefield where God has positioned you even if He is the One who will do the fighting for you because He told the Israelites, Tomorrow go down against them. (2 Chronicles 20:16)

So take your position in the place where God has called you to serve Him and wait for Him to fight for you.

Prayers that you can pray for His intervention include:
Father God I ask You in the name of Jesus to grant that we, being delivered from the hand of our enemies, might serve You without fear. (Adapted Luke 1:74)

You can also pray and ask God to show you where to cast your online net so that you can be successful because Jesus knows where your tribe of "fish" are. We can see this from when Simon and his men had fished all night and caught nothing but after they obeyed Jesus when He told them Launch out into the deep and let down your nets (Luke 5:4) they caught so many fish that their nets were breaking. So acknowledge His Lordship over your Blog and ask Him for His direction and He will guide you.
