Strengthen Your Faith Devotional Day 23

Bible Reading

When there was a famine, God told Prophet Elijah to go to Zarephath where he had commanded a widow to provide for him. When he arrived, he found her collecting sticks so that she could prepare the last meal for her son and herself before they died because she just had a little flour in a bin and a little oil in a jar.

Elijah told her to first make a small cake for him and then use the remainder for her family. She obeyed and She and her household ate for many days for the bin of flour was not used up nor did the jar of oil run dry. (1 Kings 17:15-16) (1 Kings 17:8-16)

Therefore believe that God can feed you in any situation even if it is a famine, recession or pandemic because With God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26)

In addition know that God is not a respector of persons (Acts 10:34) which means that what He did for the widow He can also do for you if you believe. Therefore believe that He can provide for you and if your faith is wavering read How to Increase your Faith.
