How Can I Pray Effectively Part 3

To pray effectively, you have to do the following:

Pray In The Spirit

The Bible tells us that, Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit. (Ephesians 6:18)

So, if you want to pray effectively, pray in the Spirit.

If you are not filled with the Holy Spirit ask God to fill you with His Spirit because He can do it for Jesus asked, If you being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those that ask him? (Luke 11:13)
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit. (Ephesians 6:18)

Pray Persistently

The Bible tells us that, Pray without ceasing. (1 Thessalonians 5:17)

So, if you want to pray effectively, you have to pray continuously.

Heed Jesus when He taught His disciples about prayer by giving them the parable of the man who received a guest at his house but had nothing to feed him. He therefore went to his friend’s house at midnight and asked for 3 loaves of bread. His friend asked him not to disturb him since he could not rise because they were all in bed and he had shut the door. Jesus told His disciples that if this man would not rise to give his friend bread because of their friendship, he would rise because of his friend’s persistence and give him as many loaves as he needed. (Luke 11:5-8)

Therefore, always remember that Men ought to pray and not to lose heart. (Luke 18:1)

And, decide to be committed to Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17) like the Psalmist who declared, “As for me I will call upon God and the Lord shall save me. Evening and morning and at noon, I will pray and cry and He shall hear my voice.” (Psalm 55:16-17)
Pray without ceasing. (1 Thessalonians 5:17)

Pray Fervently
The Bible tells us that The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (James 5:16)

So, if you want to pray effectively, you have to pray with zeal.

Therefore pray fervently if you want your prayers to be answered so that they can accomplish a lot.

The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (James 5:16)
