Need to improve your financial status? With God all things are possible!

Need to improve your financial status? With God all things are possible!

Do you want to improve your financial situation?

Are you waiting for the price of something to drop so that you can afford it?

Are you looking for a way to increase your income so that you can get out of debt?

If you are, do not give up on improving your financial status because With God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26)

We can see a good example of this from the Israelites when the Syrians had caused a famine so severe that people were eating their children and a ¼ kab of dove droppings was being sold for 5 shekels. (2 Kings 6:25)

God spoke through His Prophet Elisha and declared that, “By this time tomorrow, a seah of fine flour shall be sold for 1 shekel”. (2 Kings 7:1) This declaration of 1 shekel buying fine flour when 5 shekels were needed to buy dove droppings sounded impossible to one of the King’s officials for he asked, “Look, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, could this thing happen? (2 Kings 7:2)

However, God did make it happen for he amplified the footsteps of four leprous men who were going to the Syrian camp and made the Syrian army hear the noise of chariots, horses, and a great army (2 Kings 7:6) approaching. As a result, the Syrian army fled their camp and left all their food, gold, silver, clothing, horses, and donkeys (2 Kings 7:6-8) for the lepers and the other Israelites.

Therefore if you want to buy something that is priced out of your reach, believe that With God nothing is impossible (Luke 1:37) and believe the words of God's prophets as you continue searching for sales both from within your country and from other countries.

This fact of believing God's prophets is very important because we can see that this official of the king who doubted that God could dramatically change the price of wheat within 24 hours did not eat the fine wheat for he was trampled to death. (2 Kings 7:19-20)

This is in contrast to the widow who approached Elisha because of her financial problems for her creditor was coming to take away her 2 sons. (2 Kings 4:1-7)

Elisha told her to borrow many empty vessels from her neighbors, come home, shut the door and pour the oil she had in her home into the borrowed vessels. She did as she had been told and when the borrowed vessels were full, the oil stopped flowing from her jar.

Elisha then told her to go and sell the oil to pay her debts and to support her family with the rest of the money. Thus we can see that by believing the Prophet Elisha, this woman prospered financially.

Therefore regardless of how desperate your financial situation is, Believe in the Lord your God and you shall be established and believe His prophets and you shall prosper. (2 Chronicles 20:20)
