God Loves Your 100% Conviction

God Loves Your 100% Conviction

God told Abraham that he would have descendants who were as many as the stars of the sky (Genesis 15).

At that time, Abraham was around 100 years old even though men can still sire children in old age their chances are reduced when compared to a 30 year old man.

His wife Sarah, had been unable to bear children in her youth and now her womb was not just considered barren, it was considered a barren, old womb.

In view of his circumstances, Abram had 2 choices:
a. Have faith in God's Word and believe that he and Sarah could still have children
b. Have faith in his reality and believe that he and Sarah could never have children

So what did Abraham do?

Abraham Not being weak in faith, did not consider his own body already dead since he was around 100 years old or Sarah's barren womb.

He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but he was strengthened in faith and praised God while being fully convinced that what God had promised He was also able to perform. (Romans 4:19-22)

Abraham chose to believe God's Word about his situation because He was FULLY CONVINCED that what God had promised He was able to perform(Romans 4:21)

He was not half convinced. He was 100% convinced that God was able to do it.

As a result of his 100% conviction, God accounted it to him for righteousness (Genesis 15:6) and God gave him what He had promised him.

Therefore if you are facing a situation that is humanly impossible decide to be FULLY CONVINCED that what God has promised you in the Bible He is able to do.

For example, if you are dealing with infertility you can decide to believe God's Word which says, None of you shall be infertile (Deuteronomy 7:14) regardless of what your reality is telling you through reports from Doctors and the pregnancy tests you take.

Do not let your reality make you waver with unbelief at this promises of God.

Infact, your reality should have nothing to do with your faith since Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1) while reality is the things that are seen.

Therefore do not focus on the things that you can already see in your reality that you want to change.

Instead, focus your mind on the things you cannot yet see and that you are believing God to bring into your reality like a baby.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)

Strengthen your faith by listening to God's Word especially teachings about barren women in the Bible who eventually gave birth since Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17).

In addition, create time to praise God to chase away any doubts that may be making you be not FULLY CONVINCED that what God had promised He is able to perform(Romans 4:21)

How to Increase Your Faith uses examples from the Bible to teach you how to strengthen your Christian faith in God.
