BOOK EXCERPT

Regardless of whether you are feeling sad because of relationship or financial or health or family problems, you have to combine spiritual, mental, verbal, and physical interventions to form your own holistic deliverance ministry to chase away the blues.
The first spiritual intervention is to pray and cry out to Jesus because He was anointed to heal the brokenhearted, comfort the mourning, and give gladness to the sorrowful. (Luke 4:18) Prayerfully Ask, and you will receive, so that your joy may be full. (John 16:24)
As you pray, use Scriptures since awesome Bible verses are the foundation of any deliverance ministry and Christian spiritual warfare because the Word of God is the Sword of the Spirit that God has given us to fight with. (Ephesians 6:17) We will, therefore, call the Scriptures that we will use to fight theses feelings of sadness SWORD WORDS.
SWORD WORDS that you can use as personal deliverance prayers include:
1. O Lord, I ask You in the name of Jesus to make me full of joy in Your presence. (Adapted Acts 2:28)
2. O Lord my God, my soul melts from heaviness. I ask you in the name of Jesus to please strengthen me according to Your word. (Adapted Psalm 119:28)
3. O Lord I ask You in the name of Jesus to increase my greatness and comfort me on every side. (Adapted Psalm 71:21)
4. Save me, O Lord my God I pray for the waters (troubles) have come up to my neck. I am about to sink in a deep quagmire and I have nowhere to stand. I have come into deep waters (troubles), where the floods (problems) overflow me and I am weary with my crying;
… My prayer is to You. O Lord, in the acceptable time, O God, in the multitude of Your mercy, hear me in the truth of Your salvation. Deliver me out of these problems and let me not drown in them.
Let me be delivered from those who hate me, and out of the deep waters (troubles). Do not let the floodwater overflow me, nor let the deep (difficulties) swallow me up and do not let the pit (of problems) shut its mouth on me. (Adapted Psalm 69)
As you pray, believe that God will help you deal with the situations that are making you feel sad since having faith in God and in His Word is how you hold up your shield of faith which is the spiritual weapon that is able to quench all the fiery darts of the enemy. (Ephesians 6:16)
