How To Deal With A Hopeless Situation

How To Deal With A Hopeless Situation

Are you stressed because you are dealing with a hopeless situation?

If you are, do not give up.

Know that you can manage that stress effectively by following the steps taken by the woman with the issue of blood (Mark 5) because she was also in a seemingly hopeless situation.

This woman had suffered from a bleeding disease for 12 years and had moved from doctor to doctor looking for a cure but her condition continued to worsen. In addition, she had spent all her money and become broke.

This woman was able to triumph over her seemingly hopeless situation and she can teach us the following steps:

How to Deal with a Hopeless Situation:
1. Mentally place your Hope in God

Mentally place your expectation of the situation changing for the better in God rather than in yourself because With God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26)

To keep your hope alive in the midst of the hopelessness surrounding you, remind yourself that Hope that is seen is not hope. For why should someone hope for what they see? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it eagerly and with perseverance. (Romans 8:24–25)

Therefore, Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation and continue steadfastly in prayer. (Romans 12:12)

2. Spiritually place your Faith in God

Spiritually place your faith in God by deciding to believe that God can change your situation for the better.

This having faith in God’s ability is very important because All things are possible for the person who believes. (Mark 9:23) And, it was faith that enabled this woman to be healed for Jesus said to her, “Your faith has made you well.” (Mark 5:34)

Therefore, believe that God can change your situation for the better.

3. Physically Do Something

This woman did something physical about her situation because she left her home and pressed through the crowd until she touched Jesus' garment and received her healing.

Therefore, do whatever you can to lessen the hopelessness in your situation.
