21 Day Scripture Writing Plan for Depression

21 Day Scripture Writing Plan for Depression

Writing down Scriptures by hand is important because God commanded the Israelite kings to write down His word with their hands even though they could have had a scribe do it for them. (Deuteronomy 17:18-19)

Writing Scriptures with your hand is also beneficial because it allows you to reflect on them more which enables their message to seep into mind and spirit.

Therefore, create time each day to hand write one of the following anti-depression Bible verses in a notebook that you have dedicated for this purpose.

For optimum results write down the Scripture 3 times, read it out aloud and spend a few minutes meditating on it.

DAY 1
Isaiah 61:2-3 Jesus came To comfort all persons who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion and give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness so that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord.
