Do Not Give Up - Ask God for Your Elim

Do not give up. Ask God for your Elim. (Exodus 15)

Have you been jobless for a long time and when you got a job you found it was full of problems?

Have you been wanting to start your own business for a long time and when you eventually began one you were inundated with problems?

Have you been wanting to live in your own house for a long time and when you finally moved you found the neighborhood was full of problems?

Have you been wanting to get married for a long time and after finally saying "I do" you found your marriage is full of problems?

Have you been childless for a long time and when you eventually got a baby they were full of medical problems?

If you can identify with any of these scenarios ask God to show you your Elim.

What is Elim?
After the Israelites crossed the Red Sea, they entered the Wilderness of Shur and did not find any water to drink.

When they finally found water at a place called Marah, they could not drink it because it was too bitter.

The Israelites complained to Moses asking "What shall we drink?"

Moses prayed to God who showed him a tree that he threw into the waters and sweetened them.

Then the Israelites came to Elim, a place which had 12 wells of water and 70 palm trees and they camped there. (Exodus 15:22-27)

The Israelites, therefore, moved from
a place with no water
to a place with bitter, undrinkable water
and finally to a place with abundant, drinkable water from 12 wells.

In addition, this Elim place not only had water but it also had palm trees to provide them with food, medicine, building materials and shade.

Likewise, if you have moved from a place of lack to a place of problematic provision, do not give up on life because of facing persistent problems with no end in sight.

Ask God to lead you to your Elim - you place of abundant provision of what you want with additional benefits and no problems in sight because God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly more than we can ask of think. (Ephesians 3:20)

How to Wait for Elim
As you wait for God to lead you to your Elim you should skip the complaining stage and consider doing the following:
1. Buy some dates and use them to make chocolate truffles for your stress management meditation.

3. Meditate and confess Bible verses for patience like the following:

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation and continue steadfastly in prayer. (Romans 12:12)

Be patient until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently until it receives the early and latter rain. You also be patient. (James 5:7-8)

The Lord is not slow to fulfill His promise as some consider slowness. (2 Peter 3:9)

You need to have endurance so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise. (Hebrews 10:36)
