How to Fight for your Christian Ministry with Bible Verses

Regardless of whether your Christian ministry is under attack by fallacious rumor mills, defaulting debtors, conniving creditors, anti-Gospel governments, energy and money devouring diseases, hindering spirits or any other person, problem or power (spiritual or physical), you have to combine spiritual and physical interventions to form your own holistic deliverance ministry to fight for your ministry and deliver it from destruction.

The first spiritual intervention step is to pray.

Learn from Peter and John when they were commanded by Annas the high priest, Caiaphas, John, Alexander as well as other rulers, elders and scribes not to speak nor teach in the name of Jesus, (Acts 4:5-18) for they raised their voice to God with one accord and prayed (Acts 4:24) and said, “Now, Lord, look on their threats and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word and by stretching out Your hand to heal that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus Christ.” (Acts 4:29-30)

Therefore, present the problematic people and powers to God in prayer and ask Him to strengthen you so that you can continue doing what He has called you to do even if the problems are still present in your life.

As you pray, use Scriptures since awesome Bible verses are the foundation of any deliverance ministry and Christian spiritual warfare because the Word of God is the Sword of the Spirit that God has given us to fight with. (Ephesians 6:17)

Scriptures that you can use as personal deliverance prayers for your ministry include:

1. Grant us that we, being delivered from the hand of our enemies, might serve You without fear, in holiness and righteousness before You all the days of our life. (Adapted Luke 1:74-75)

2. May I be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that I may walk worthy of You Lord, fully pleasing You, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God (Adapted Colossians 1:9-10)

3. May the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead ... make me complete in every good work to do His will, working in me what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ. (Adapted Hebrews 13:20-21)

(Ephesians 6:17) Therefore, we will call the awesome Bible verses that we will use to fight for your ministry SWORD WORDS.

SWORD WORDS that you can use as personal deliverance prayers for your ministry include:

1. Grant us that we, being delivered from the hand of our enemies, might serve You without fear, in holiness and righteousness before You all the days of our life. (Adapted Luke 1:74-75)

In addition to praying for yourself, ask your Pastor to pray for your ministry and attend Deliverance services so that you can learn different spiritual warfare prayers and receive deliverance for your ministry.

After praying, re-put on the helmet of salvation (if you had backslidden in any area of your life) since it is one of the weapons of our warfare being part of the armor of God that we need to put on to fight our spiritual battles. (Ephesians 6:14-17)

All you need to put on this helmet of salvation is to repent of your sins and say with your mouth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead when He died for our sins and you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)

Re-dedicate your life to Jesus and re-connect with Him if you want your Christian ministries to be productive for He says, I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. (John 15:5)

The next spiritual step to take as you Fight for your Christian Ministries, regardless of whether they are Christian healthcare ministries or Christian financial ministries or Christian youth ministries or music ministries, is to remove all negative thoughts about your ministries from your mind so that you can Be renewed in the spirit of your mind. (Ephesians 4:23) To do this, set specific meditation session during the day when you can meditate on the following spiritual warfare scriptures:

1. I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you. (Genesis 28:15)

2. You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain. (John 15:16)

3. The gates of Hades shall not prevail against the Church of God and my Christian ministry. (Adapted Matthew 16:18)

4. He who called me is faithful (Adapted 1 Thessalonians 5:24)

5. I will be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that my labor is not in vain in the Lord. (Adapted 1 Corinthians 15:58)

6. I will stand fast in one spirit and with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel, and not in any way terrified by my adversaries. (Adapted Philippians 1:27-28)

Meditate on these Scriptures and decide to believe them whenever doubts enter your mind trying to convince you of the contrary. Believe these Scriptures because having faith in God and in His Word is how you hold up your shield of faith which is another of our spiritual weapons and the weapon that is able to quench all the fiery darts of the enemy. (Ephesians 6:16)

Ensure that you also read at least one chapter of the Bible everyday because the Gospel is another of our warfare weapons and so that you can learn more Scriptures to meditate on.

Combine reading the Word of God with speaking the Word of God over your ministry because it is the sword of the Spirit that we are to wield to fight our spiritual battles. Positive scriptural affirmations that you can confess over your ministry include:

1. As the rain comes down and the snow comes down from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth and make it bring forth and bud so that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth. It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please and it shall prosper in the things for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:10-11)
