How to Waste Time Constructively

How to waste time

Do you find yourself stuck in traffic jams with nowhere to go and minutes to waste?
Do you find yourself stuck in an office with nothing to do and hours to waste?

If you do, I'd like to share with you how I waste time constructively.

I've discovered that praying and worshiping God is the best thing I can do to waste those minutes and hours when I cannot do anything else.

This is because God has given us a great promise in Jeremiah 33:3 which is: "Call Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things which you did not know".

Therefore call on God when you have to waste and He will show you things you did not know.

For example, He can show you the secret plans your frenemies (enemies disguised as friends) have made to harm you and He will show you what you can do about them.

As a result, you will find that you will end up thanking God for those hours you were stuck a in traffic jam or in an office with nothing much to do.

So the next time you find yourself with time to waste, kill it constructively by putting on your earphones and listening to worship music from your phone.

As you do so, let God's Holy Spirit direct the direction your prayers should take. For example if you are stuck in a traffic jam you can request for the jam to begin moving and then move on to the God's agenda because He knows the best way for you to "waste that time".

If you are in a safe place or you have parked by the side of the road, you can abandon yourself to God without fear of being misunderstood like this child and you will experience the Presence of God in a mighty way.
Call Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things which you did not know Jeremiah 33:3

How to Get What You Need in Life

How to get what you need in life

Have you been asking yourself, "How do I get what I need in life?"

If you have I'd like to tell you that:

1. God has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness.

2. God has given us great promises to enable us to be partakers of the divine nature.

So where do I get all this?

I get it from 2 Peter 1:3-4 which says God's divine power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue and by whom we have been given exceedingly great and precious promises that through these we may be partakers of the divine nature.

Therefore if you need anything in any area of your life, you can get it by doing the following:

1. Find the Promise of God
Go through your Bible and find the Promises of God that are relevant for what you need in life.

For example if you need healing the promise is Blessed is the person who considers the poor for the Lord will deliver him from trouble. The Lord will preserve them and keep them alive and they will be blessed on earth. You will not deliver them to the will of their enemies. The Lord will strengthen them when they are ill and You will sustain them on their sickbed. (Psalm 41:1-3)

If you need a financial breakthrough, the promise is Honor the Lord with your possessions and with the first fruits of all your increase so that your barns will be filled with plenty and your vats will overflow with new wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10)

If you need protection the promise is Call upon Me in the day of trouble and I will deliver you and you shall glorify Me. (Psalm 50:15)
You can also read our book The Promises of God and their Conditions which teaches you the promises of God for provision, protection, healing, help, finances, family, future, work and the conditions that have to be fulfilled for each of the promises to be received.

The Promises of God and Their Conditions is a Christian self-help book which teaches you the promises of God for provision, protection, healing, help, finances, family, future, work and success as well as the conditions you have to be fulfill to receive each of these promises.

2. Fulfill the Condition of the Promise
Fulfill the conditions that God has set out for you to receive those promises that will help you get what you want in life.

For example if you need healing, the condition that you must fulfill is to help poor people because it is written, Blessed is the person who considers the poor for the Lord will deliver him from trouble. The Lord will preserve them and keep them alive and they will be blessed on earth. You will not deliver them to the will of their enemies. The Lord will strengthen them when they are ill and You will sustain them on their sickbed. (Psalm 41:1-3)

If you need a financial breakthrough, the condition you must fulfill is to take the first proceeds out of any new venture to your Church because it is written, Honor the Lord with your possessions and with the first fruits of all your increase so that your barns will be filled with plenty and your vats will overflow with new wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10)

If you need protection, the condition you must fulfill is to pray because it is written Call upon Me in the day of trouble and I will deliver you and you shall glorify Me. (Psalm 50:15)

How to receive healing, protection and financial breakthrough from the Promises of God

3. Claim the Promise
After fulfilling the conditions that God has set out in the Bible for your promise, you now have to claim it by confessing it with your mouth and meditating on it in your heart.

Therefore if you need healing, say with your mouth each morning and evening: "The Lord is delivering me from trouble. The Lord is preserving me and keeping me alive and I am blessed on earth. He will not leave me to the will of my enemies. The Lord will strengthen me when I am sick and He will sustain me on my sickbed because I consider the poor."

If you need a financial breakthrough, say with your mouth each morning and evening: "My barns are filled with plenty and my vats are overflowing with new wine because I honor the Lord with my possession and with the first fruits of my increase."

If you need protection, say with your mouth each morning and evening: "The Lord is delivering me because I have called upon Him in the day of trouble and I shall glorify Him."

4. Pray the Promise
The next step is to use the Bible verses of the Promises of God as your prayers.

For example if you need healing, you can pray, "Heavenly Father I ask You in the name of Jesus to deliver me from trouble, to preserve me and keep me alive and bless me here on earth. Father God do not deliver me to the will of my enemies. Father God strengthen me when I am sick and sustain me on my sick be."

If you need a financial breakthrough, you can pray, "Heavenly Father I ask You in the name of Jesus to bless me so that my barns are filled with plenty and my vats overflow with new wine."

If you need protection, you can pray, "Father God I call upon You in the day of trouble so that you can deliver me and I shall glorify You."

5. Believe the Promise of God
As you continue praying the promises and confessing them and meditating them, you have to believe in them even if your reality says that they will not come to pass.

Emulate Abraham who Not being weak in faith, did not consider his own body already dead since he was around 100 years old or Sarah's barren womb.

He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but he was strengthened in faith and praised God while being fully convinced that what God had promised He was also able to perform. (Romans 4:19-22)

Therefore be fully convinced that God is able to do for you what He has promised in the Bible and persist in professing the promises of God until you receive them.

Decide to discard all doubts and Hold firmly to the hope we profess without wavering because He Who promised is faithful. (Hebrews 10:23)

Encouragement: You Will Overcome

Encouragement: You will overcome

If you are feeling weak and discouraged because of the challenges you are facing, I would like to encourage you and remind you that We have this treasure in earthen vessels so that the excellence of power may be of God and not of us(2 Corinthians 4:7)

I have this treasure in an earthen vessel so that the excellence of power may be of God and not of me. (Adapted 2 Corinthians 4:7)

This means that if you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, inside you there is a treasure from God which gives you His power.

To accept Jesus, you have to Say with your mouth that 'Jesus is Lord' and believe in your heart that when He died for our sins, God raised Him from the dead and you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)

How to workout your salvation

Now that you have this treasure in your earthen vessel, you are able to exhibit God's excellent power.

With God's power you are able to face and overcome all challenges because With God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26)
With God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26)

It is important to note that the Bible verses that follow We have this treasure in earthen vessels so that the excellence of power may be of God and not of us (2 Corinthians 4:7) are
We are hard pressed on every side and yet not crushed.
We are perplexed but not in despair.
We are persecuted but not forsaken.
We are struck down but not destroyed. (2 Corinthians 4:8-9)

So even if the clay pot is hard pressed on every side, it is not crushed because of the treasure that it contains. This treasure from God gives it an excellent power that enables it to remain uncrushed even if it is pressed from every side.

Even if the clay pot is perplexed, it is not desperate because of the treasure that it contains.

So even if the clay pot is persecuted, it is not forsaken because of the treasure that it contains.

So even if the clay pot is struck down, it is not destroyed because of the treasure that it contains.

Therefore believe that you will overcome not because of your own abilities but because of the treasure that you have within you that enables you to manifest God's excellent power.
I may be hard pressed on every side but I am not crushed. I may be perplexed but I am not desperate. I may be persecuted, but I am not forsaken. I may be struck down but I am not destroyed. (Adapted 2 Corinthians 4:8)

You can therefore use the Bible verses in 2 Corinthians 4 as Christian affirmations to encourage yourself by saying:

I may be hard pressed on every side but I am not crushed because I have this treasure in me that gives me God's excellent power.

I may be perplexed but I am not desperate because I have this treasure in me that gives me God's excellent power.

I may be persecuted but I am not forsaken because I have this treasure in me that gives me God's excellent power.

I may be struck down but I am not destroyed because I have this treasure in me that gives me God's excellent power.

Devices of the Devil - Misrepresentation

Devices of the devil - misrepresentation

Misrepresentation is another device that the devil uses since the Bible tells us that Your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8)

This means that he struts like a lion even though he is not a lion. So do not let his strut, mane or roar fool you and cause you to retreat or surrender in fear.

In addition, constantly pray for discernment and God’s guidance so that you do not fall for his ruses.

Natural Chocolate Body Scrub Recipe

Natural Chocolate Body Scrub Recipe Ingredients
2 tablespoons sunflower oil
Sunflower oil is not one of the most commonly used aromatherapy carrier oils but it is a good choice when you need one that does not have a strong scent, is relatively inexpensive and easily available. It is great for this recipe since it does not mask the chocolate aroma.

If you do not have sunflower oil you can use other carrier oils like sweet almond oil, olive oil, and jojoba liquid wax.

6 tablespoons brown sugar
Sugar contains glycolic acid which loosens the substance that holds the dead cells on the surface of the skin together. This enables them to fall off and leave the softer cells on the surface.
You can use white sugar if you do not have brown sugar.

1 teaspoon cocoa powder
Cocoa contains antioxidants and it gives skin a gentle glow.
