Yes, God Can.

Yes, God can.

Are you struggling with trusting God?

Do all the facts of your situation seem overwhelmingly against you?

Is your faith wavering in the middle of a crisis that needs faith to be resolved?

If it does, remind yourself of the numerous situations where God saved his people from humanely impossible situations and proved that With God nothing is impossible (Luke 1:37) because as He says, My thoughts are not your thoughts and my ways are not your ways. For as the heavens are above the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts above your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8-9)

These situations that demonstrate that God’s saving techniques are way superior to ours include:

Supernatural Promotion
The first situation that you should remind yourself of so that you can trust God more is that of Pharaoh and Joseph.

God caused Pharaoh to dream a dream that only Joseph could decode even though All the magicians of Egypt and its wise men could not interpret it. (Genesis 41:8) God then caused Pharaoh’s butler who had had his dreams interpreted by Joseph while in jail, remember Joseph and his gift of dream interpretation and he informed Pharaoh of Joseph.

Pharaoh then sent for this prisoner who was good at interpreting dreams and he was so impressed by Joseph’s interpretation and by the fact that Joseph was A man in whom is the Spirit of God (Genesis 41:38) that he promoted him from prisoner to Prime Minister with immediate effect.

God then caused a severe famine which made Joseph’s brothers leave their homes in Canaan and go to Egypt to look for food since it was the only country with food. (Genesis 42:3) On arriving, they found that their brother whom they had sold as a slave, was not only free, but he was the Prime Minister of the entire Egypt.

Therefore, trust God because he can turn the bad things that your enemies have done to you into blessings and you will be able to testify as Joseph did to his brothers that, You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, so that He may bring it about as it is this day in order to save many people. (Genesis 50:20)

So even if your relatives and friends have betrayed you, cut your career short or destroyed your business, or ministry, trust God even if you don’t understand why He allowed it and believe that He can turn it around to bless you because All things work together for good. (Romans 8:28)

Yes, God can do it.

Christian Meditations to Clean a Dirty Mouth

Christian meditations to clean a dirty mouth

If you want to clean a dirty mouth you have to remove all negative thoughts from your mind since A good person out of the good treasure of their heart brings forth good and an evil person out of the evil treasure of their heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart their mouth speaks. (Luke 6:45)
Therefore, meditate on whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, virtuous and praise worthy (Philippians 4:8) so that you can fill your mind with a treasure of true, honest, just, pure, lovely, virtuous, and praise worthy thoughts from which true, honest, just, pure, lovely, virtuous, and praise worthy words will flow through your mouth instead of cursing words, profanities, and lies.

Bible verses that you can meditate on to achieve this goal include:
A person shall eat well by the fruit of their mouth. (Proverbs 13:2)

A person who guards their mouth preserves their life. (Proverbs 13:3)

What I have said in the dark will be heard in the light and what I have whispered in secret will be proclaimed from roof tops. (Adapted Luke 12:3)

Why Does God Allow Suffering?

Why does God allow suffering?

Why Does God Allow Suffering? uses Biblical examples to attempt answering the question “Why do bad things happen to good people?” and also teach you some of the reasons that God may allow us to experience painful periods in our lives.

Have you been asking yourself “Why does God allow suffering?” because profound problems have been plaguing your life?

Have you been asking yourself “Why do bad things happen to good people?” because you have been faithful to God and you are sure that He could have prevented some of those problems.

Have you been asking yourself “Why does God allow suffering?” because the pain from these problems is almost paralyzing you?

If you have, read on to discover some of the reasons why bad things happen to good people and why God sometimes allows suffering.

 1. Your Suffering Period Could Be Your Training Period
Joseph’s suffering period, which spanned 13 years, and which was spent slaving in Potiphar’s house and later as an imprisoned slave in charge of the prison, was the training period that God used to transform him from a spoilt son who was sent to check on his brothers as they herded (Genesis 37:13-14) to the Prime Minister in charge of Egypt.

David’s suffering period when lions and bears used to attack his sheep, was also the training period that God used to train him to fight big challenges fearlessly. We know this is so because when he was faced with the challenge of fighting Goliath, David stated clearly for all to hear that “The Lord God who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” (1 Samuel 17:37) He then ran towards Goliath confidently because he had learnt while in the wilderness, from his recurrent challenges of fighting lions and bears, how to fight gigantic problems.

Therefore if you have been faithful to God and you have been doing the right thing but your life circumstances keep changing from pit to prison or from bad to worse as lions and bears keep attacking you, understand that God could be using those difficult circumstances to train you so that you can fulfill the purpose that He created you to fulfill.

Consequently, do not blame God, despair and give up on yourself, on life and on God. Continue having faith in God and being faithful to Him by believing that He will bring you out to rich fulfillment in the end like He did for Joseph and David.

Conduits of God

The conduits of God

The Conduits of God is a Christian Sermon which uses examples from the Bible to teach you about the “unconventional things” that God uses to channel His blessings to His people.

The Conduits of God is, therefore, an important teaching because it can help you not miss the "unusual'" but miraculous solution that you have been praying for when it arrives because it does not resemble what you were expecting.

The Conduits of God Book Excerpt
Sometimes when God Opens the windows of heaven to pour out His blessings on us, (Malachi 3:10) He chooses to use conduits that we may consider unusual to channel those blessings to us. Examples of those “unusual conduits” include:

Ravens
The first example of "unusual conduits" that God used to channel blessings to his people are the ravens He sent to feed Elijah during a famine.

God instructed Elijah to, “Go to the Cherith Brook for you shall drink its water and I have commanded ravens to feed you. ” (1 Kings 17:2-4) Elijah obeyed and twice a day ravens brought him bread and meat to eat. (1 Kings 17:5-6)

These ravens can qualify as "unusual conduits" in our human reasoning because they are omnivorous birds. This means that they feed on both flesh and plant material and thus it would not have been unreasonable if they ate the meat they were supposed to deliver to Elijah.

As humans we would have expected God to use herbivorous birds which do not eat meat to ensure that Elijah received his daily portion of protein. But, being God, He did not because He is able to use “unusual conduits” to fulfill His ends for “My ways are not your ways,” says the Lord. “Because as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts higher than yours” (Isaiah 55:8-9)
