How to Fight for Peace of Mind with Bible Verses

Regardless of whether your peace of mind is under attack by financial deficits, health issues, failing businesses or struggling relationships, you have to combine spiritual and physical interventions to form your own holistic deliverance ministry to fight for your peace of mind.

The first spiritual step is pray because we are told to presents all our requests to God in prayer and then The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7)

Therefore, tell God about everyone and everything that is stressing you and release the attendant fears and worries to Him. Then ask Him for what you want and spend some time listening to peaceful praise and calming worship music as you thank Him for the blessings you already have in your life and His peace will then guard your mind.

As you pray, use Scriptures since Bible verses are the foundation of any deliverance ministry and Christian spiritual warfare because the Word of God is the Sword of the Spirit that God has given us to fight with. (Ephesians 6:17) Therefore, we will call the Scriptures that we will use to fight for your children SWORD WORDS.

SWORD WORDS that you can use as personal deliverance prayers or prayers for peace of mind include:

1. Father God, I ask that in the name of Jesus you may bless me, keep me, cause your face to shine upon me and be gracious to me. Father I also pray that you may lift up Your countenance upon me and give me peace of mind. (Adapted Numbers 6:24-26)

2. Father God, let your peace rule in my heart.  (Adapted Colossians 3:15)

In addition to praying for yourself, ask your Pastor to pray for you to get peace of mind and attend Deliverance services so that you can learn different spiritual warfare prayers and receive deliverance for your mind.

After praying, put on the helmet of salvation since it is one of the weapons of our warfare being part of the armor of God that we need to put on to fight our spiritual battles. (Ephesians 6:14-17)

All you need to put on this helmet of salvation is to say with your mouth that "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead when He died for our sins and you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)

Therefore, get saved today and accept His invitation for He says, Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take up My yoke and learn from Me for I am gentle and lowly in heart and you will find rest for your souls. (Matthew 11:28-30)

Take up His yoke by following the instructions in the Bible for how we should live and you will find a peaceful rest for your mind and soul because it is written that Great peace have those who love Your law. (Psalm 119:165)

In addition, to turning over a new leaf, if you have hurt anyone in your past, apologize and make up for the damages the best way you can. Learn from Zacchaeus the former corrupt Chief Tax collector, who, when he accepted Jesus into his heart and his home, offered to payback damages equivalent to four-times the amount of money he had falsely collected as excess tax. (Luke 19:1-10)

Therefore, present the problematic people and powers to God in prayer and ask Him to strengthen you so that you can continue doing what He has called you to do even if the problems are still present in your life. 

As you pray, use Scriptures since awesome Bible verses are the foundation of any deliverance ministry and Christian spiritual warfare because the Word of God is the Sword of the Spirit that God has given us to fight with. (Ephesians 6:17)

All you need to put on this helmet of salvation is to repent of your sins and say with your mouth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead when He died for our sins and you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)

Re-dedicate your life to Jesus and re-connect with Him if you want your Christian ministries to be productive for He says, I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. (John 15:5)

The next spiritual step to take as you Fight for your Christian Ministries, regardless of whether they are Christian healthcare ministries or Christian financial ministries or Christian youth ministries or music ministries, is to remove all negative thoughts about your ministries from your mind so that you can Be renewed in the spirit of your mind. (Ephesians 4:23) To do this, set specific meditation session during the day when you can meditate on the following spiritual warfare scriptures:

1. I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you. (Genesis 28:15)

2. You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain. (John 15:16)

3. The gates of Hades shall not prevail against the Church of God and my Christian ministry. (Adapted Matthew 16:18)

4. He who called me is faithful (Adapted 1 Thessalonians 5:24)

5. I will be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that my labor is not in vain in the Lord. (Adapted 1 Corinthians 15:58)

6. I will stand fast in one spirit and with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel, and not in any way terrified by my adversaries. (Adapted Philippians 1:27-28)

Meditate on these Scriptures and decide to believe them whenever doubts enter your mind trying to convince you of the contrary. Believe these Scriptures because having faith in God and in His Word is how you hold up your shield of faith which is another of our spiritual weapons and the weapon that is able to quench all the fiery darts of the enemy. (Ephesians 6:16)

Ensure that you also read at least one chapter of the Bible everyday because the Gospel is another of our warfare weapons and so that you can learn more Scriptures to meditate on.

Combine reading the Word of God with speaking the Word of God over your ministry because it is the sword of the Spirit that we are to wield to fight our spiritual battles. Positive scriptural affirmations that you can confess over your ministry include:

1. As the rain comes down and the snow comes down from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth and make it bring forth and bud so that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth. It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please and it shall prosper in the things for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:10-11)
